Opened our doors
Robert Ley opens first men's clothing store in Marietta OH called Robert's Men's Shop
1973
Expanded to New Philadelphia, OH
After finding success in Marietta, our founder's son Mike Ley opened his first store in New Philadelphia, OH.
1995
Embroidery Services
Robert's begins to offer embroidery services to local businesses and events.
2003
Selling Scrubs
We start selling scrubs out of our Men's Shop and through our mobile division in an effort to offer a convenience to local healthcare workers.
2006
Big Growth
With an in-house embroidery department, 7 trucks & trailers, and a team built around customer service, we quickly become a leader in setting up uniform programs for companies in the Midwest.
2009
Our First Scrub Store
We open our first scrub store across from Union Hospital in Dover, OH.
2013
We open in Cincinnati
Robert's expands its retail footprint to Cincinnati by opening its second scrub store.
2023
"Making Uniforms Simple"
Robert's adopts the slogan "making uniforms simple" to represent our passion for providing organizations and their employees a simpler way to manage their uniforms.
2025
We open our offices
As we continued to grow, we opened our offices to provide a professional base for our employees to manage our operations.
